"Monologues" is a special theater project presented by the Turkish American Arts Society of New York (TAASNY). This production features powerful and emotional solo performances in which various characters explore and question life through their own unique voices. Themes such as migration, identity, belonging, womanhood, loneliness, and hope are thoughtfully portrayed, allowing each character to establish a deep emotional connection with the audience.
This stage performance, where audiences can find reflections of their own experiences, draws inspiration from both classical and contemporary Turkish theater. With a cast composed of performers from different ages and backgrounds, "Monologues" embraces a perspective that celebrates cultural diversity.
