New Manhattan Sinfonietta: "Anatolian Inspirations" 2024
Under the baton of Gürer Aykal, the New Manhattan Sinfonietta presented an evening of orchestral music.The concert featured violin virtuoso Yiğit Karataş performing Mozart’s Violin Concerto No. 5, known as the "Turkish Concerto,"followed by the timeless beauty of Mozart’s Symphony No. 40.Additionally, the program included the Anatolian Suite by celebrated Turkish composer Muammer Sun, as part of a musical journey through Western and Anatolian influences.

Hasan Can Kaya’s highly anticipated stand-up show at Breslin Performing Arts Center, New Jersey and The Town Hall New York City organized by TAASNY, has successfully concluded! 30th August Victory Day Celebrations & Children's Festival
The 30th August Victory Day Celebrations and Children's Festival took place in New Jersey, bringing together the Turkish-American community for a day full of cultural pride and entertainment. Organized by the Turkish American Arts Society of New York (TAASNY) in collaboration with YTB (Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities), Turkish Airlines, the Turkish State Theatres, and the Federation of Turkish American Associations (FTAA), the event was held on Saturday, August 31st, 2024, at Akba Hall, Paterson.
Karagöz Everywhere Ramadan Series
The New York Turkish American Arts Society (TAASNY) proudly presented the traditional Karagöz & Hacivat Shadow Play, bringing the rich cultural heritage of Turkey to life in a special event reflecting the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan.Hosted in collaboration with the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), the Turkish American Religious Foundation (TARF), and the Diyanet Center of America, the event took place on Friday, March 22nd, at Maarif School USA.
100 Years of the Republic: Hadise & Murat Boz
The stars of Turkish music, Hadise and Murat Boz, took the stage in an unforgettable evening organized by TAASNY to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey. With their powerful performances, the artists provided the audience with a vibrant celebration, honoring the past and inspiring hope for the future. This special event, where we celebrated unity and togetherness, offered participants unforgettable moments.
Anatolian Inspirations: Commemorating 100 Years of the Turkish Republic
In celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Turkey, TAASNY proudly presented Anatolian Inspirations, a special concert that blended the rich musical heritage of Turkey with the classical traditions of the West. Featuring the New Manhattan Sinfonietta, under the baton of Maestro Gürer Aykal, the concert honored the achievements of the Republic while showcasing the vibrant culture of Anatolia. The evening was a heartfelt tribute to unity, progress, and the enduring spirit of the Turkish people.
